Was wondering why someone doesn't make a new Astrosmash home brew...Like Astrosmash special edition or the lost levels.. Just an Idea I would love to see come to reality... New enemy ships and new spinners... More different color backgrounds ..smart bombs maybe?

actually not so many hacks of existing Intellivision games have been made up to now. IIRC, only Tennis, Night Stalker, Thunder Castle, ML Baseball and very recently NHL Hockey, if we don't count the Space C*nt or Space Beaver which are Astrosmash hacks.

I'm not a big fan of Astrosmash, but I would surely like a Super Pro version with multiple screens and levels a la Demon Attack.
Imagine: after destroying a certain number of falling meteors the spaceship flies to a big meteor where a bomb must be placed to save the earth (have you seen Armageddon, the movie?)

This would definitely we a cool idea and expanding it to have different levels would make the game even better.
