A kind member at another site is currently playing around with creating new molds for Jaguar controller casings, buttons, d-pads, sticks, etc. He molded this d-pad with a 5200 directional stick on top and I fell in love. I begged him, and he mailed me my own 5200 stick for Jaguar. It plays excellent on everything I threw at it, including 7800 games via a Best Electronics adapter cable. See for yourself...

OK, so everyone thinks it is butt ugly? It's ok, it won't hurt my feelings. It seems to do really well with games needing good directional control like 7800 Ms. Pac Man and Jaguar Raiden. One that I tried that it would not be recommended for was Jaguar Tempest 2000.

Too bad I could not hook it up through my Masterplay and have all the number pad buttons work fine. I have not tried that combination yet, but am told the number pad buttons will not map correctly to 5200 games. Neutral

Talking about unique controllers for the Jaguar, here is one that is being sold that is unique and customized to play a particular homebrew game. Take a look: SuperFly DX Controller

That thing is weird. I see one large fire button and some smaller buttons. Where are the directionals at?

The controller is designed for that particular game, SuperFly DX where the only think you need to do is hit the fire button (hence the large button) to keep your character moving through different caves and chambers while avoiding enemies. Essentially, the character movies to the right automatically and you adjust his up and down movement with the fire button. Supposedly, there are plans for additional games that will take advantage of this huge button.

I may but it would be nice if it had more games. I do have the special edition of the game, though.
