Have you tried Zombie Booth? I have it on my Android devices but it is also available for iOS devices. Another cool one, for concerts, is Zippo!

One that I use on my Android devices is Talking Transformer. Not sure if that is available for iOS. It is a cool app where a Transformer repeats what you say and follows some commands.

Why, of course! These and a ton of games I have on my tablet!

I finally tested connecting my tablet to the TV and I have to say that it was fantastic! Not only for gaming but also for watching movies from Netflix, listen to music, etc. Pretty cool. I did have a problem with the USB controller I have, so I need to get a different one.

Other than the USB problem, it sounds like you have the perfect all-in-one device .

It sure is; however, I will be getting PocketTV, which is essentially a Google TV on a memory stick and that can do the same stuff. I'll be able to use that in hotel more easily than the tablet to watch movies or play games. Then I'll get OUYA as a separate game console.

To address the controller issue, I'm getting the Logitech F710 Gamepad which has been tested and works well. I can also use it with the desktop computer.

Cool! Kids today have no idea how lucky they are to have wireless controllers. One of the sounds I remember most is the dropping of a controller because someone else walked in front of the tv screen and pulled on the chord.

How about dropping a console for the same reason?! My Atari 2600 flew a couple of times because of that!

There's a lot of things these youngsters will have no idea about! Think about it, some of them haven't lived before cell phones existed!

Yep, I remember when car phones were the big thing. No more pay phones. I suppose truckers still might have CB radio's but not sure.

I don't even know if trucker use CB's anymore. Why would they? A cell phone is much easier!

Pay phones? Please, you have no idea how much I had to run around looking for those some times when I was still doing my residency training!

I guess truckers would report to each other about police hot spots.

I am small town so we still had pay phones up till a couple of years ago.
