So, anyone here a fan of Cirque du Soleil? Love these shows. One of my most favorite is Dralion, perhaps because it was the very first that I saw.

They are fantastic shows. I highly recommend them. The video I posted is actually the entire show as recorded in 1998.

What is the back story behind these programs?

Each one is different. They have themes. Dralion is about the four elements, earth, water, air, and fire competing for the attention of the Dralion, a creature that is a merging of a Chinese dragon and a lion (hence the name). They are not your typical circus by any measure. These are highly artistic shows with amazing costumes, make up, and music. I never miss one when they come to Miami. In fact, already got tickets for Totem, the newest one that will be in Miami in January.

French Canadian. Smile The performers are from all over the world, however.

Cool! I hope someone else shows interest and posts. I am always on the quest for higher learning.

I have watched Cirque Du Soleil, either on A&E or Bravo. Always amazing performances and most likely better live and in person. Unfortunately, they never put these shows on around my area.

Only performance I might like to see more is Blue Man Group.

I saw the Blue Man Group live in Las Vegas years ago. It is definitely a fun show and worth going to watch.
