If you could choose one Arcade Cabinet only, not a multicade, what arcade machine would you get?

Mine would be Popeye.

Spy Hunter. Popeye would be a close second.

We had one store that had a Phoenix arcade machine. Used to play it a lot when I was a kid.

I have never played the actual arcade game. Only the 2600 version. I have always heard good things about Crystal Castles.

It is excellent. The arcade version is available for PC if you can find Atari Arcade Hits.

My memories of Crystal Castles at the arcade were the lines. When that game came out around 1982, there were lines at all the arcades to play it. I don't think I even got the chance to play it until it was out about 6 months.

I agree that the arcade cab would be a nice one to have.

I just had a doh, moment. It is on the Atari Anthology Collection for the Playstation 2. I received the Atari and Activision Anthology at the same time. Spent more time on the Activision one. Now I know to try the Atari disc.

I have to admit that BITD I was a Galaga addict at the arcades. I even learned the patterns of the bee and moth swarms well enough to regularly roll the game over on its level progression. In those days, Galaga would have most likely been my choice if I were asked this question. These days, not so much, largely due to my diminished bee killing skills of late. silent

I do have a Hyper Neo Geo 64 cabinet in my house.  Although I have 4 games for it, if I had to choose only one, it would be Buriki One.  Last I checked, MAME didn't emulate it fully.
