I could see certain genres being more playable than others. Racers and fighters that do not rely on in-game dialogue would probably be enjoyable, but RPG's and action adventure games with much printed text would not be fun in the slightest.

I just found out a few weeks ago that the 3DO had a couple of Wacky Races games. A couple of posters were talking back and forth. So it led to me snooping around.

It seems they were on released in Japan. The 3DO is able to play these but the price is way beyond what I can afford.

The DreamCast is the same way. A couple of Godzilla games that I would like to have but only released in Japan.

I am guessing the Godzilla games are no too text intensive. Maybe you should buy one and see.

I guess I was thinking of a game like Rampage. Obviously, no knowledge of Japanese would be needed with a game like that.

Not sure as I do not have any imports but some of them look impressive.
